Lake St. Clair smallmouth and the occasional musky follow keep me building. Started shaping jerkbaits in the garage in 2016 because clear water shows every flaw in a factory finish. Now it's three or four glides a month, a handful of jerkbaits, and a custom for a buddy when he asks. Pearl flash, copper bellies, the colors the fish up here actually eat. Each bait gets balanced in a five-gallon bucket and tank-tested for the walk before it goes in bubble wrap.
