Privacy policy

This explains what Tacklerow collects, why we collect it, who we share it with to run the marketplace, and how you can see or remove your data. Tacklerow operates in the United States and is built for buyers and sellers in the United States.

What we collect

  • Account details. Your email address and the password you set, plus basic profile information like a display name.
  • Shop and listing content. If you sell, the shop, listings, photos, prices, and descriptions you publish.
  • Orders. What you bought or sold, order status, and the shipping address attached to an order.
  • Messages. Messages you send to other buyers and sellers through the marketplace.
  • Payment details. Handled by Stripe. Tacklerow never sees or stores your full card number. We keep a record that an order was paid and a token Stripe gives us to reference it, not the card itself.
  • Basic usage data. Standard log and device information, such as a rough sense of pages viewed, used to keep the site working and secure.

How we use it

We use this to create your account, show your shop and listings to buyers, process orders and payouts, deliver messages, send order and account email, answer support requests, and keep the marketplace safe from abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Who processes your data

We keep the list of outside services short, and each one only handles the part of the job it needs:

  • Supabase. Our database, sign-in, and photo storage. Holds your account, listings, orders, and messages.
  • Stripe. Payments and seller payouts. Stripe handles card details directly under its own privacy terms.
  • Resend. Sends transactional email, such as order updates and password resets.
  • Vercel. Hosts the website and serves it to your browser.

Keeping your data safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Connections to the site are encrypted, access to the database is restricted to what the marketplace needs, and payment details sit with Stripe rather than with us. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we work to guard your data and to move quickly if a problem comes up.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open and you are using Tacklerow. When you close your account we remove what we can. Order and payment records are held longer, because tax, accounting, and dispute rules require it, and we keep only what those records need.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. We keep analytics light and use it only to understand how the site is used and to fix what is broken, never to build an advertising profile of you. Your browser's do-not-track and cookie settings are honored where they apply.

Seeing or deleting your data

You can view and edit most of your information from your account at any time. If you want a copy of your data or you want your account and personal data deleted, email support@tacklerow.com and we will take care of it. One thing to know: order records are kept even after an account is closed, because we are required to hold them for tax, refund, and dispute purposes. We remove the personal details we are allowed to remove and keep only what the record needs.

Children

Tacklerow is for adults. You must be at least eighteen to use it, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and, when it matters, let you know in the app or by email. Questions about your privacy go to support@tacklerow.com. You can also read our terms of service.
