Been throwing walk-the-dog baits on Toledo Bend at first light since I was twelve. The good ones, the ones that get hit on the first cast, are the ones I copy. Hand-shaped from cedar, hand-painted, finished with two coats of clear that take a full week to cure. Every bait gets walked across the cove behind the shop before it ships. If it doesn't sit right at rest or it rolls instead of walks, it doesn't go in a box.
